First created in by Sir John Herschel in 1842, cyanotypes were originally adopted as a copying technique to duplicate architectural drawings. Now cyanotype techniques are popular in mainstream art and photography practices. The process lends itself to experimentation and has the exciting element of the unexpected.
In this workshop we will:
Cover Materials and Process (wet vs. dry)
Use collected materials & photo negatives
Explore tips and tricks
Experiment with creative finishes
